The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.25.6

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
दामव्यालकटन्यायं भीमभासदृढस्थितिम् ।
श्रृणु राघव तच्छ्रुत्वा यदिष्टं तत्समाचर ॥ ६ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
dāmavyālakaṭanyāyaṃ bhīmabhāsadṛḍhasthitim |
śrṛṇu rāghava tacchrutvā yadiṣṭaṃ tatsamācara || 6 ||

Vasishtha replied:—Hear me Rama! relate to you both these anecdotes, that you may derive the benefit of aping according the same.
