The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उदारयैतया शुद्धं संप्रबोधय मां गिरा ।
घनस्तापापहारिण्या प्रावृषीव कलापिनम् ॥ ५ ॥

udārayaitayā śuddhaṃ saṃprabodhaya māṃ girā |
ghanastāpāpahāriṇyā prāvṛṣīva kalāpinam || 5 ||

Kindly relate the whole, and enlighten me with thy purifying words, as the roaring of the rainy clouds, serves to alleviate the summer heat of peacocks.
