The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.15.20

संशान्ते चित्तवेताले यामानन्दकलां तनुः ।
याति तामपि राज्येन जागतेन न गच्छति ॥ २० ॥

saṃśānte cittavetāle yāmānandakalāṃ tanuḥ |
yāti tāmapi rājyena jāgatena na gacchati || 20 ||

The felicity which attends on the body, upon the calmness of the demon of the mind; is not to be had, from possession of the vast dominion of the world.
