The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मेरुरास्ते कथमणौ कुतः किंचिदनाकृतौ ।
तदतद्रूपयोरैक्यं क्व च्छायातपयोरिव ॥ ३२ ॥

merurāste kathamaṇau kutaḥ kiṃcidanākṛtau |
tadatadrūpayoraikyaṃ kva cchāyātapayoriva || 32 ||

How can an atom contain a hill, or anything subsist in nothing? The union of a similar with its dissimilar, is as impossible as that of shadow with the light of the sun.
