The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

राक्षस्युवाच ।
युक्तमुक्तं त्वया राजन्करोम्येवमहं सखे ।
सौहार्देन प्रवृत्तस्य को वाक्यं नाभिनन्दति ॥ ४८ ॥

rākṣasyuvāca |
yuktamuktaṃ tvayā rājankaromyevamahaṃ sakhe |
sauhārdena pravṛttasya ko vākyaṃ nābhinandati || 48 ||

The rakshasi replied:—You have well said prince! and we will do as you say; for who is there that will slight the words of the wise that are spoken to him in the way of friendship?
