The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आधिभौतिकदेहत्वं मिथ्याभ्रममयात्मकम् ।
कथं सत्ये स्थितिं याति च्छायास्ते कथमातपे ॥ २ ॥

ādhibhautikadehatvaṃ mithyābhramamayātmakam |
kathaṃ satye sthitiṃ yāti cchāyāste kathamātape || 2 ||

All material bodies which are but false and erroneous conceptions of the mind, can have no place in Truth (the true spirit); as no shadow can have any room in sunshine.
