The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीदेव्युवाच ।
तस्माद्ये वेद्यवेत्तारो ये वा धर्मं परं श्रिताः ।
आतिवाहिकलोकांस्ते प्राप्नुवन्तीह नेतरे ॥ १ ॥

śrīdevyuvāca |
tasmādye vedyavettāro ye vā dharmaṃ paraṃ śritāḥ |
ātivāhikalokāṃste prāpnuvantīha netare || 1 ||

The goddess continued:—Those therefore who know the knowable God, and rely in virtue, can go to the spiritual worlds and not others.
