The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

झटित्येवं क्रमेणेति स्वप्ने पुरमिवाकृतम् ।
महाकाशमहाटव्यामुद्भूयोद्भूय नश्यति ॥ ६ ॥

jhaṭityevaṃ krameṇeti svapne puramivākṛtam |
mahākāśamahāṭavyāmudbhūyodbhūya naśyati || 6 ||

But the living souls, like so many evanescent objects seen in a dream, are made to rise and fall one after the other, in this great forest of the world surrounded by the skies.
