सन्तापयन्ति कम् अपथ्य-भुजं न रोगा दुर्मन्त्रिणं कम् उपयान्ति न नीति-दोषाः ।
कं श्रीर् न दर्पयति कं न निहन्ति मृत्युः कं स्वीकृता न विषया परिपीडयन्ति ॥ २३५ ॥

santāpayanti kam apathya-bhujaṃ na rogā durmantriṇaṃ kam upayānti na nīti-doṣāḥ |
kaṃ śrīr na darpayati kaṃ na nihanti mṛtyuḥ kaṃ svīkṛtā na viṣayā paripīḍayanti || 235 ||
