Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. तपोविघ्नकरी चैव पञ्चचूडा सुसंमता ।
रम्भा नामाप्सराः शापाद्यस्य शैलत्वमागता ॥ ११ ॥

tapovighnakarī caiva pañcacūḍā susaṃmatā |
rambhā nāmāpsarāḥ śāpādyasya śailatvamāgatā || 11 ||
