याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच ।
अव्यक्तस्थं परं यत्तत्पृष्टस्तेऽहं नराधिप ।
परं गुह्यमिमं प्रश्नं शृणुष्वावहितो नृप ॥ १ ॥

avyaktasthaṃ paraṃ yattatpṛṣṭaste'haṃ narādhipa |
paraṃ guhyamimaṃ praśnaṃ śṛṇuṣvāvahito nṛpa || 1 ||
