The Viśvakarmaprakāsa (विश्वकर्मप्रकास) is an architectural treatise attributed to Viśvakarman, the creator deity who is said to have been the first teacher of all craftsmen, as mentioned in the Ṛgveda. The text is divided into thirteen chapters on different aspects of construction, and covers houses (chapter 4), temples (chapter 6), and forts (chapter 11).
