The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 9.7

तस्मात्ततस्तावुपलभ्य तत्त्वं तं विप्रमामन्त्त्य तदैव सद्यः ।
खिन्नावखिन्नाविव राजपुत्रः प्रसस्रतुस्तेन यतः स यातः ॥ ७ ॥

tasmāttatastāvupalabhya tattvaṃ taṃ vipramāmanttya tadaiva sadyaḥ |
khinnāvakhinnāviva rājaputraḥ prasasratustena yataḥ sa yātaḥ || 7 ||

Then they two, having understood the true state of things, bade that Brahman at once farewell, and wearied though they were, went on as if they were unwearied, thither whither the prince was gone.
