This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 64.521

श्रेष्ठी विशिष्टो भवति प्रभूतकोशो गृहपतिश् च रतनविचित्रितांगो ।
पुत्रो च राज्ञो अथ वा अमात्यो राजा च भवति बलचक्रवर्ती ॥ ५२१ ॥

śreṣṭhī viśiṣṭo bhavati prabhūtakośo gṛhapatiś ca ratanavicitritāṃgo |
putro ca rājño atha vā amātyo rājā ca bhavati balacakravartī || 521 ||

He becomes a distinguished wealthy merchant, a householder owning wonderful treasures, a king’s son, a minister, or even a powerful universal ruler. (521)
