This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 20.59

हिमरजतनिभो से षड्विषाणो सुचरणचारुभुजो सुरक्तशीर्षो ।
उदरम् उपगतो गजप्रधानो ललितगतिः अनवद्यगात्रसन्धिः ॥ ५९ ॥

himarajatanibho se ṣaḍviṣāṇo sucaraṇacārubhujo suraktaśīrṣo |
udaram upagato gajapradhāno lalitagatiḥ anavadyagātrasandhiḥ || 59 ||

He enters her body in the form of a noble elephant, light of step, perfectly flawless of body, gleaming like snow-white silver, with six tusks, a gracefully waving trunk and a crimson head. (59)
