The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.187.31

संपद्यते तत इदमितीयं रचनेहया ।
कृता सा मुग्धबोधाय मूर्खैर्विरचिता मुधा ॥ ३१ ॥

saṃpadyate tata idamitīyaṃ racanehayā |
kṛtā sā mugdhabodhāya mūrkhairviracitā mudhā || 31 ||

But the account given of the genesis of the world, and of the creation of things one after the other, are mere fabrication of sages for instruction of the ignorant, and has no basis on truth.
