The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.183.52

मृतेरनन्तरं भाति यथास्थितमिदं जगत् ।
शून्यास्मैव घनाकारं तस्मिन्नेव क्षणे चितः ॥ ५२ ॥

mṛteranantaraṃ bhāti yathāsthitamidaṃ jagat |
śūnyāsmaiva ghanākāraṃ tasminneva kṣaṇe citaḥ || 52 ||

After the demise of a person, the world exhibits itself in the same form as it is, in the minute atom of his mind; and this is but a vacuous mass of the visible and material world, in its invisible and imaginary figure.
