The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रूढा येयमविद्येति संविदव्यभिचारिणी ।
भवतां ननु नास्त्येव सा सरित्स्विव पांसुभूः ॥ २१ ॥

rūḍhā yeyamavidyeti saṃvidavyabhicāriṇī |
bhavatāṃ nanu nāstyeva sā saritsviva pāṃsubhūḥ || 21 ||

The ignorance which floats upon the sea of your understanding, does not contaminate my mind, in the manner of dirt polluting a pure and clear stream.
