The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवमर्थमहं ज्ञातुमिमं संप्रार्थये वरम् ।
श्रृणु देवेश्वराविघ्नं तथैवाशु प्रयच्छ मे ॥ २२ ॥

evamarthamahaṃ jñātumimaṃ saṃprārthaye varam |
śrṛṇu deveśvarāvighnaṃ tathaivāśu prayaccha me || 22 ||

It is for this that I ask your good grace, to make me acquainted with the infinite space of the universe; accept my prayer, O thou lord of gods, and readily grant this my request.
