The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अस्म्यहं तावदादीर्घतपास्त्वमतिधार्मिकः ।
श्रुत्वेदं मद्वचः सत्यमिहैव रतिमेष्यसि ॥ ११ ॥

asmyahaṃ tāvadādīrghatapāstvamatidhārmikaḥ |
śrutvedaṃ madvacaḥ satyamihaiva ratimeṣyasi || 11 ||

I have been living here, as a holy hermit for a long time; and solely employed in the performance of my religious austerities; and after hearing my speech, I think you too will like to remain in this place.
