The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथा स्वप्नस्तथैवायमादौ सर्गोऽवभासते ।
पृथ्व्यादिरहितोऽप्येष पृथ्व्यादिभिरवस्थितः ॥ ४ ॥

yathā svapnastathaivāyamādau sargo'vabhāsate |
pṛthvyādirahito'pyeṣa pṛthvyādibhiravasthitaḥ || 4 ||

The whole creation from its very beginning, is no more than a dream; and it appears to be comprised of the earth etc., yet it is devoid of everything.
