The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.112.30

प्रविष्टा याचनं सह्ये लब्धाः सुरविलाद्द्वयम् ।
अनर्थेनाऽर्थ आयाति काकतालीयतः क्वचित् ॥ ३० ॥

praviṣṭā yācanaṃ sahye labdhāḥ suravilāddvayam |
anarthenā'rtha āyāti kākatālīyataḥ kvacit || 30 ||

The fugitives flying to the refuge of the Sahya mountains, found in lieu of their imminent destruction, in the subterranean cell, the two fold gain of their present and future good therein. Thus it comes to pass that, many times good issues out of evil, where it was least expected.
