Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramSurāvin (सुराविन्) (Cf. Surāviṇī) refers to “one who makes the beautiful sound (of consciousness)”, according to the Jayadrathayāmala verse 3.11.40.—Accordingly, “The Kālī of menses who resounds in the abode of the triangle with three parts which is (always) in menses in the three times is Nityaklinnā who makes the beautiful sound [i.e., surāviṇī] (of consciousness)”.
Shakta (शाक्त, śākta) or Shaktism (śāktism) represents a tradition of Hinduism where the Goddess (Devi) is revered and worshipped. Shakta literature includes a range of scriptures, including various Agamas and Tantras, although its roots may be traced back to the Vedas.
