The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संभ्रान्तमन्त्रिनृपयोधनियोगिनागनारीरथाश्वपरिचारकनागरौघम् ।
राज्ञो गृहं स्वभयतोलितहेतिसार्थं चण्डानिलाकुलमहावनतुल्यमासीत् ॥ ४८ ॥

saṃbhrāntamantrinṛpayodhaniyogināganārīrathāśvaparicārakanāgaraugham |
rājño gṛhaṃ svabhayatolitahetisārthaṃ caṇḍānilākulamahāvanatulyamāsīt || 48 ||

Upon this the king with his honorable ministers, his knights and attendants and servants; together with his cavalry and charioteers, the men and women and all the citizens at large were struck with terror; and the sentinels of the palace, trembled with fear, as they shouldered their arms and wielded their weapons, which resembled a forest of trees shaken by a hurricane.
