The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

न चाद्यापि मृतं राम चिन्मात्रं कस्यचित्क्वचित् ।
न च शून्या स्थिता भूमिस्तस्माच्चित्पुरुषोऽक्षयः ॥ १६ ॥

na cādyāpi mṛtaṃ rāma cinmātraṃ kasyacitkvacit |
na ca śūnyā sthitā bhūmistasmāccitpuruṣo'kṣayaḥ || 16 ||

Therefore, O Rama, the sole intellectual soul of nobody, has ever died any where up to this time;nor was there ever any country devoid of a living soul in it.
