The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वयमन्तः कचन्ती चित्स्वभावाकाशकोटरे ।
क्षणकल्पजगद्भ्रान्तिं धत्ते कल्पनया स्वया ॥ २६ ॥

svayamantaḥ kacantī citsvabhāvākāśakoṭare |
kṣaṇakalpajagadbhrāntiṃ dhatte kalpanayā svayā || 26 ||

The intellect developes itself of its own nature, within its vacuous cell at first; and then in a moment envelopes this erroneous universe in itself, and at his will at the time of its destruction.
