The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिन्मात्राकाशमेवाच्छं कचति स्वात्मनात्मनि ।
तथा नाम यदाभाति तदात्मैवं जगत्तया ॥ ११ ॥

cinmātrākāśamevācchaṃ kacati svātmanātmani |
tathā nāma yadābhāti tadātmaivaṃ jagattayā || 11 ||

But the clear sky of the pure intellect, shines of itself in itself;and when it shines in that state, it shows the world in itself.
