The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.76.32

अथ ब्रह्माण्डविस्फोटकठिनं घटिताम्बरम् ।
प्राग्द्रुतोद्भटतौषारकाष्ठा वृष्टिः पपात ह ॥ ३२ ॥

atha brahmāṇḍavisphoṭakaṭhinaṃ ghaṭitāmbaram |
prāgdrutodbhaṭatauṣārakāṣṭhā vṛṣṭiḥ papāta ha || 32 ||

After the clouds had split the vault of heaven, by their harsh crackling and thunder; they dropped down the solid snows at first, which were then melted down in the form of liquid rain.
