The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.66.21

भुवनं बोधयन्ती द्यौश्चन्द्रार्ककरचामरैः ।
स्थिताकाशांशुकाकल्पतारकोत्करशेखरा ॥ २१ ॥

bhuvanaṃ bodhayantī dyauścandrārkakaracāmaraiḥ |
sthitākāśāṃśukākalpatārakotkaraśekharā || 21 ||

The high heaven which is ever clad in the clean and clear attire of the atmosphere, and wears the frame work of the stars as a cap or crown on its head, holds the two lights of the sun and moon in its either hand, and shows us the works of gods in the skies.
