The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.19.15

पञ्चानां संविदां पञ्च भिन्नान्यङ्गान्यसावथ ।
बुध्यते तानि तद्रूपरन्ध्राण्यनुभवत्यपि ॥ १५ ॥

pañcānāṃ saṃvidāṃ pañca bhinnānyaṅgānyasāvatha |
budhyate tāni tadrūparandhrāṇyanubhavatyapi || 15 ||

These five senses are then found to have the five organs of sensation for their inlets, by which the soul perceives the sensation of their respective objects.
