The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.128.9

चक्षुरादित्यबिम्बे च जिह्वामप्सु विनिक्षिपेत् ।
प्राणं वायौ वाचमग्नौ पाणिमिन्द्रे विनिक्षिपेत् ॥ ९ ॥

cakṣurādityabimbe ca jihvāmapsu vinikṣipet |
prāṇaṃ vāyau vācamagnau pāṇimindre vinikṣipet || 9 ||

Let him then resign his eye sight to the solar disc, and his tongue to water, he must next give up his breath to air, his voice to fire, and his palms to the god Indra.
