The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

क्रियातिशयनिर्मुक्तं किं स्याद्विश्रमणं परम् ।
इति निश्चयवान्योऽन्तः स निवृत्त इति स्मृतः ॥ ६ ॥

kriyātiśayanirmuktaṃ kiṃ syādviśramaṇaṃ param |
iti niścayavānyo'ntaḥ sa nivṛtta iti smṛtaḥ || 6 ||

And he who reflects in himself, after being released from the burden of his business, on the delight of his rest after labour, he is the man who is said to repose in his quiescence.
