The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एतत्ते सर्वमाख्यातं शिखिध्वजकथानकम् ।
अनेन गच्छन्मार्गेण न कदाचन खिद्यसे ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
etatte sarvamākhyātaṃ śikhidhvajakathānakam |
anena gacchanmārgeṇa na kadācana khidyase || 1 ||

Vasishtha related:—Now I have narrated to you fully, and finished my relation of the narrative of Sikhidvaja; and hope you will imitate his example, to set you free from all sorrow and misery.
