The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

समस्तवस्तुदाहेऽपि यथा त्वं नेतरो नृप ।
सर्वत्यागत एवाङ्ग तथा निर्वाणमुच्यते ॥ ५४ ॥

samastavastudāhe'pi yathā tvaṃ netaro nṛpa |
sarvatyāgata evāṅga tathā nirvāṇamucyate || 54 ||

As by the burning of your articles, you have burnt no part of your body; so by your resignation of all things, you can not resign yourself or your soul, which would then amount to nirvana or utter extinction.
