The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिन्तामणिर्मया प्राप्त इत्यलं बुद्धवानसि ।
न लब्धवान्भवान्साधो स्फटिकस्यापि खण्डिकाम् ॥ २६ ॥

cintāmaṇirmayā prāpta ityalaṃ buddhavānasi |
na labdhavānbhavānsādho sphaṭikasyāpi khaṇḍikām || 26 ||

You thought in vain to have obtained the philosopher's stone before, but must have come to find at last; that your gain is not worth even a grain of glassy bauble.
