The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नित्यं पातोत्सुकतया प्रवेशोन्मुखया तया ।
सा सर्वसंविदां बीजं ह्येका सामान्युदाहृता ॥ ४८ ॥

nityaṃ pātotsukatayā praveśonmukhayā tayā |
sā sarvasaṃvidāṃ bījaṃ hyekā sāmānyudāhṛtā || 48 ||

From the continued rise and fall (or heaving and sinking) of this artery, it is said to be the common root or source of all the sensations and perceptions in the consciousness.
