The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.71.15

तादृशानां नृणां लक्षैर्यस्य मालोरसि स्थिता ।
प्रधानं सर्वसत्तानां तादृशोऽस्ति परः पुमान् ॥ १५ ॥

tādṛśānāṃ nṛṇāṃ lakṣairyasya mālorasi sthitā |
pradhānaṃ sarvasattānāṃ tādṛśo'sti paraḥ pumān || 15 ||

That which bears thousands of such Gods, as a string of pearls about the neck, is the Great God Rudra.
