The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तादृगब्धिसहस्राणि यस्योदरजलान्यथ ।
तादृशोऽस्ति पुमान्कश्चिदत्युच्चैर्भरिताकृतिः ॥ १४ ॥

tādṛgabdhisahasrāṇi yasyodarajalānyatha |
tādṛśo'sti pumānkaścidatyuccairbharitākṛtiḥ || 14 ||

That which contains thousands of such oceans, with all their waters in his unconscious womb, is the God Vishnu who filled the universal ocean with his all pervasive spirit.
