The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.49.28

यद्ब्रह्मात्मापि तुर्यश्च याऽविद्या प्रकृतिश्च या ।
तदभिन्नसदैकात्म यथा कुम्भशतेषु मृत् ॥ २८ ॥

yadbrahmātmāpi turyaśca yā'vidyā prakṛtiśca yā |
tadabhinnasadaikātma yathā kumbhaśateṣu mṛt || 28 ||

What you call, Brahma the universal soul and the fourth or transcendent state; know the same to be materia or matter and natura or nature also. It is the inseparable one in all, as the mud is the essential substance of a thousand water pots.
