The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.14.23

दन्ततालदलावल्या परिहासादिव स्फुरत् ।
दोलालोलाप्सरोवृन्दमुदारमदमन्मथम् ॥ २३ ॥

dantatāladalāvalyā parihāsādiva sphurat |
dolālolāpsarovṛndamudāramadamanmatham || 23 ||

Here the lofty palm trees seemed to be smiling with shewing their teeth in their denticulated leaves, on seeing the giddy groups of Apsaras, swinging and strolling about loosely in their amorous dalliances under their shade.
