The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सौवर्णाम्भोजकोशस्थलोलालिपटलश्रियम् ।
धारयन्ति दृशः स्त्रीणां कपोलतलदोलिताः ॥ २ ॥

sauvarṇāmbhojakośasthalolālipaṭalaśriyam |
dhārayanti dṛśaḥ strīṇāṃ kapolataladolitāḥ || 2 ||

The sidelong looks of the beautiful eyes in their faces, look like a cluster of black bees, sitting on the pericarp of a full blown lotus.
