The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.91.79

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
यः सर्वत्रानवस्थास्थो विश्रान्तास्थो न कुत्रचित् ।
जीवो न विन्दते किंचिदसंविदजडो हि सः ॥ ७९ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
yaḥ sarvatrānavasthāstho viśrāntāstho na kutracit |
jīvo na vindate kiṃcidasaṃvidajaḍo hi saḥ || 79 ||

Vasishtha replied:—That is called the unsluggish or sensible unconsciousness, which having its existence, dwells on nothing beside itself; and which though it is living, is insensible of everything else.
