The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवं चित्त त्वमज्ञानादात्मशक्तेरुपागतम् ।
ज्ञाने त्वया विगलितं तीव्रे हिममिवातपे ॥ ४५ ॥

evaṃ citta tvamajñānādātmaśakterupāgatam |
jñāne tvayā vigalitaṃ tīvre himamivātape || 45 ||

Thus the ignorant mind is produced by some power of the soul, and remains all along with its ignorance; until it comes to melt away like snow, under the sunshine of its spiritual knowledge.
