The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रागद्वेषैः स्वरूपज्ञो नावशः परिकृष्यते ।
स्पन्द एवास्य नैताभ्यां किमुताक्रमणं भवेत् ॥ ६१ ॥

rāgadveṣaiḥ svarūpajño nāvaśaḥ parikṛṣyate |
spanda evāsya naitābhyāṃ kimutākramaṇaṃ bhavet || 61 ||

One knowing his self, is not carried away by his fondness or aversion of any person or thing;because the heart which has no vibration in it, is insensible of all feelings.
