The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्तरिक्षेऽपि जायन्ते आकाशविहगादयः ।
वनवीथिषु जायन्ते सिंहव्याघ्रमृगादयः ॥ ३१ ॥

antarikṣe'pi jāyante ākāśavihagādayaḥ |
vanavīthiṣu jāyante siṃhavyāghramṛgādayaḥ || 31 ||

The air teems with the brood of birds of various kinds, and the woods abound with wild beasts, and lions and tigers, the fleet deer and other brutes.
