The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथातपे क्षते स्फारे मृगतृष्णातरङ्गिणी ।
कलना तद्वदेवेयं स्फुरत्यात्मनि सत्यलम् ॥ ७० ॥

yathātape kṣate sphāre mṛgatṛṣṇātaraṅgiṇī |
kalanā tadvadeveyaṃ sphuratyātmani satyalam || 70 ||

It is the imagination that displays the non-existent as existent in the soul, as it is the sun-beams, which exhibit the limpid main in the mazy sands.
