The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आकदम्बनभोभागमुपयातं सुतान्वितम् ।
अहं विसृज्य दाशूरं ततोऽमरनदीं गतः ॥ ३५ ॥

ākadambanabhobhāgamupayātaṃ sutānvitam |
ahaṃ visṛjya dāśūraṃ tato'maranadīṃ gataḥ || 35 ||

I then took my departure, and was followed by the hermit and his son to some distance from their Kadamba tree, where I left them for my aerial course to the heavenly stream.
