The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.55.2

पतितः खात्कदम्बाग्रे पत्रपुष्पफलाकुले ।
तूष्णीं निर्वृष्टमुक्तात्मा शृङ्गाग्र इव तोयदः ॥ २ ॥

patitaḥ khātkadambāgre patrapuṣpaphalākule |
tūṣṇīṃ nirvṛṣṭamuktātmā śṛṅgāgra iva toyadaḥ || 2 ||

I alighted from the sky on the top of the Kadamba tree, which was decorated with its verdant leaves, and beautiful fruits and flowers; and then with my spiritual body, I sat myself slowly and silently on the top of the tree, as a light cloud alights on the summit of a mountain.
