The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.49.14

तले निषण्णनागेन्द्रं व्योम्नि तारागणाकुलम् ।
लतापुष्पमयं मध्ये खमण्डलमिवापरम् ॥ १४ ॥

tale niṣaṇṇanāgendraṃ vyomni tārāgaṇākulam |
latāpuṣpamayaṃ madhye khamaṇḍalamivāparam || 14 ||

The groups of elephants lying underneath the branches, and the clusters of stars shining above them, gave the woodlands an appearance of the sky, with its dark clouds moving below the blazing stars above.
