The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दौर्भाग्यदायिनी दीना शुभहीना विचारणा ।
घनदीर्घमहानिद्रा त्यज्यतां संप्रबुध्यताम् ॥ ५६ ॥

daurbhāgyadāyinī dīnā śubhahīnā vicāraṇā |
ghanadīrghamahānidrā tyajyatāṃ saṃprabudhyatām || 56 ||

Now wake and shake off the dullness of your long, deep and death-like sleep, like the torpor of the old tortoise lying in the bog.
